CVBL: Indiana Over Philadelphia 107-97
Mack continues to dominate the league and helped Indiana post an expected win over Philadelphia, 107-97. The game was a solid team effort, but Mack - a favorite for post-season honors - was outstanding, completely overshadowing a great performance by Philadelphia key player, Ziegler.
Mack's coach, Coach Hitch, had nothing but praise for his star. "He's just special. It's something just to sit back and watch him do his thing. He certainly brings pride to Indiana fans everywhere." Philadelphia coach Bob was concilliatory after the game as well. "When Mack is doing his thing, you just hope you can keep him under control. We didn't, though Ziegler certainly did his part. We really thought we could win this game, so the locker room is pretty quiet right now. We'll just have to turn our focus to next week."
Indiana was led by Mack (12 points, 6 boards, 17 assists, 2 steals), Gray (19 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Sigler (19 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, a block). Philadelphia was led by Ziegler (20 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Evans (16 points, 2 blocks), Blunt (12 points, 7 boards, 0 assists).
Indiana are now 2-1 and 1-0 at home with this victory. They hold at #2 in the Central and move up to #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia are now 1-2 with this loss. They move down to #4 in the Atlantic and move down to #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
