CVBL: Sacramento 107, Dallas 101
Sacramento star Bravo led his team to a win today in a key game against Dallas. Although standings were at stake, the game was as much about bragging rights as anything. The teams have a long history against each other that began when coaches Bob and Bob traded insults after an apparently intentional injury to one of Bob's players. Although Bob has long denied that there was any malicious intent, Sacramento fans don't believe it and turn out in large numbers whenever Dallas comes to town.
Sacramento was led by Bravo (23 points, 15 boards, 1 assists, a block), Gilliam (22 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Sims (13 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, a block). Dallas was led by Johnson (14 points, 31 boards, 4 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Howard (11 points, a steal, 4 blocks), Devoe (24 points, a block).
With the win, Sacramento jump to 3-0. They remain at #1 in the Pacific and improve to #1 overall in the Western Conference. With the defeat, Dallas drop to 1-2 and 0-1 at home. They fall to #4 in the Southwest and fall to #12 overall in the Western Conference.
