CVBL: Dallas Wins 126-108
Dallas beat Toronto by a score of 126-108, even catching some fans off guard. "We knew the lines in Vegas listed us as favorites," said Dallas coach Bob. "And we knew we had a great shot going in, but really expected a more competitive game. I don't know whether we were really that good or whether they had something else on their minds. Whatever, we're thrilled to get this kind of win over an excellent team like Toronto."
Said Toronto star James, "Coach kept yelling at us 'you know you're better than that,' and he was right. We just didn't have the intensity or whatever today, and it showed in our game. The good thing is that we know we can't play much worse than we did out there, and that we could have won if we'd played as good as we're capable of playing."
Dallas was led by Wood (20 points, 10 boards, 2 assists), Digiulio (22 points, 2 assists, a block), Rogers (16 points, 1 assists, 2 steals). Toronto was led by James (21 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Horne (12 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Whitaker (17 points, a block).
Dallas improve to 2-2 and 1-0 at home. They stay at #4 in the Southwest and improve to #8 overall in the Western Conference. With this loss, Toronto drop to 2-2. They remain at #3 in the Atlantic and drop to #7 overall in the Eastern Conference.
