CVBL: Milwaukee Embarrasses Chicago in 115-82 Win

A great game by Williams led Milwaukee to a 115-82 blowout of Chicago. "Coach had a talk with me before the game," said Williams afterwards. "He told me Chicago was a tough team and that he needed me to play my best out there. He was right; I felt that when I started getting the job done, it gave the rest of the team a boost."

Said Chicago coach Bob, "He was magnificent out there. I'd like to think that we could have won if he hadn't played, but I doubt it. Their whole team was too good for us today."

Milwaukee was led by Williams (21 points, 6 boards, 3 assists), Howe (24 points, 1 assists), Montgomery (10 points, 3 assists, 2 steals). Chicago was led by Peterson (18 points, a steal, a block), Espinoza (12 points, 10 boards, 0 assists), Blackwell (14 points, 2 blocks).

After today's win, Milwaukee jump to 2-2 and 1-2 at home. They move up to #3 in the Central and move up to #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. Chicago fall to 1-2 with today's loss. They drop to #4 in the Central and move down to #12 overall in the Eastern Conference.
