CVBL: 114-98 Cleveland

Reeve led Cleveland to a big 114-98 win over Washington in this evening's matchup. "We figured we could play with them, but Reeve really surprised us," said Washington coach Bob. "He really took us out of our game plan, and we never really figured out how to stop him. We'll just have to hope for a more normal performance next time we meet, and hopefully the final tally will be a little closer."

Cleveland coach Bob was enthusiastic about his star's performance. "That was really something, wasn't it? Certainly we take a realistic expectation into each game, but it really gives the whole team confidence to know that Reeve can pull off a game like he did today."

Cleveland was led by Reeve (18 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, a block), Sigler (16 points, 2 assists, 2 steals), Culpepper (7 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, a steal). Washington was led by Harrington (22 points, 7 boards, 1 assists), Evans (28 points), Pettway (5 points, 3 steals).

Cleveland improve to 1-2 with this win. They remain at #5 in the Central and move up to #11 overall in the Eastern Conference. Washington drop to 2-2 and 0-1 at home. They fall to #3 in the Southeast and fall to #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
