CVBL: LA Clippers Wins 102-90
LA Clippers brushed past an overmatched Phoenix team today 102-90. Always politically correct, LA Clippers coach Bob stated simply "We just managed to do what we needed to get done out there. The players had solid execution all around, and Davidson's effort helped set the pace. Phoenix is a team we've had success against in the past, which I think gave us a bit more confidence coming in."
Phoenix coach Bob was a little more frank. "We knew going in that we'd need a miracle to beat LA Clippers, and we didn't get it. They have better players and a better coach, and did what they were supposed to do out there. I'm just glad the final score wasn't even worse."
LA Clippers was led by Davidson (7 points, 2 steals), Reese (22 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a block), Patrick (19 points, 1 assists). Phoenix was led by Dupree (7 points, 18 boards, 3 assists, a steal), Fripp (26 points), Norman (19 points, 2 steals, a block).
