CVBL: Minnesota Takes Easy Win over Sacramento
Bob got the most out of Minnesota today, the result being a 111-95 win over Sacramento. "They did everything right," said Sacramento coach Bob. "That's really all there was to the game. They made the best of the chances we gave them, and didn't give us any really good shots of our own. My hat is off to Bob; he did a heck of a job."
Said Bob, "It was one of those games every coach dreams of. Everything went as hoped. Especially Fernandez - without his effort it would have been a tight game."
Minnesota was led by Fernandez (21 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Nordman (10 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Spearman (21 points, 0 assists). Sacramento was led by Dobbs (26 points, 8 assists, 2 steals), Obrien (13 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Brown (19 points).
With the win, Minnesota are now 2-1 and 2-0 at home. They remain at #2 in the Northwest and advance to #7 overall in the Western Conference. After the defeat, Sacramento stand at 2-2. They fall to #3 in the Pacific and drop to #10 overall in the Western Conference.
