CVBL: Bob Disapointed as Brooklyn Wins in Overtime
Brooklyn escaped by the narrowest of margins today, beating Dallas 102-96 in overtime. "Not a stellar game on our part," commented Brooklyn coach Bob. "We gave them way too many chances and they nearly made us pay. But I think our guys started to wake up near the end and realize it wasn't going to be an easy win. Rosemond especially kept us in it until the rest of the guys decided to step it up."
Dallas coach Bob was clearly disappointed with the final score. "So close..."
Brooklyn was led by Rosemond (31 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks), Holmes (16 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Reddick (14 points, 5 boards, 9 assists, a steal). Dallas was led by Dossman (31 points, 2 assists, a block), Digiulio (29 points, a block), Rogers (15 points, a block).
Brooklyn are now 7-3 after today's victory. They remain at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. Dallas halted their winning streak at 7 games, and drop to 7-3 and 4-1 at home. They move down to #3 in the Southwest and move down to #5 overall in the Western Conference.
