CVBL: Denver Go Up 3-2 in Western Conference Finals
Denver are leading LA Clippers in the Western Conference Finals 3-2. They pounded LA Clippers 98-72 and sent even the most loyal LA Clippers fans home early. "If I had wanted to watch this quality of play, I'd have watched my kid's pee-wee game," said one upset fan. "I mean, they were committing mistakes left and right. Maybe they'd have lost anyway, but Denver got this game handed to them on a silver platter. It's been this way ever since Adnan Bislimovic took over as head coach of the team; hopefully enough of these losses and we'll be rid of him."
LA Clippers players were quick to defend their embattled coach, though. "It's not him, it's us. He's not the one out there playing the game." Nobody can deny, however, that Adnan Bislimovic was the one who prepared the team. Time will tell whether he survives or not.
Denver was led by Simmons (14 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, 6 blocks), Flournoy (18 points), Stith (14 points, 2 blocks). LA Clippers was led by Wood (19 points, 0 assists, a block), Wood (7 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, a block), Smith (12 points, 1 assists, a steal, a block).
