CVBL: Sacramento Steals Spotlight from Memphis

Bravo led Sacramento to a big 106-87 win over Memphis in this evening's matchup. "We figured we could play with them, but Bravo really surprised us," said Memphis coach Bob. "He really took us out of our game plan, and we never really figured out how to stop him. We'll just have to hope for a more normal performance next time we meet, and hopefully the final tally will be a little closer."

Sacramento coach Bob was enthusiastic about his star's performance. "That was really something, wasn't it? Certainly we take a realistic expectation into each game, but it really gives the whole team confidence to know that Bravo can pull off a game like he did today."

Sacramento was led by Bravo (13 points, 12 boards, 6 assists, 2 blocks), Stanford (14 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks), Brown (15 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, a block). Memphis was led by Keeney (14 points, 8 boards, 5 assists, a block), Sigler (14 points, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Dolly (23 points).

Sacramento continue to roll and jump to 11-0 and 5-0 at home. They hold at #1 in the Pacific and remain at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Memphis ended their winning streak at 8 games, and are now 8-2. They hold at #1 in the Southwest and stay at #2 overall in the Western Conference.
