CVBL: Boston Express Steamrolls Toronto 116-106

Mcneil led Boston to victory today over Toronto in a 116-106 game. "It was a tough one to lose," said losing coach Bob. "I thought we had a great chance going in, and even now I think we'd have a great chance in a rematch. But Mcneil made the difference for his team, and we really didn't have an answer today."

Boston coach Bob was equally admiring of his star. "Toronto were very well prepared for this game, and our boys weren't really ready for what they faced out there. I like to believe that we'd play a better all-around game when we play them again, but we'll be happy riding Mcneil and getting the win today."

Boston was led by Mcneil (8 points, 2 steals), Brown (21 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, a block), Mcfadden (19 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a block). Toronto was led by Bush (16 points, 9 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Starks (8 points, 2 steals), Mattox (16 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal).

Boston extended their winning streak 5 games and are now 6-4. They stay at #3 in the Atlantic and remain at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. Toronto fall to 3-8 and 2-5 at home with this defeat. They stay at #5 in the Atlantic and drop to #14 overall in the Eastern Conference.
