CVBL: Orlando Beats the Odds

Orlando came in to today's game against Denver as the underdog. They came out of the game with maybe the biggest upset of this season, pulling off a great win with a 103-89 win over their heavily-favored opponents. After the game, winning coach Bob was taking in the spotlight after the huge win, but Coach Bob of Denver was nowhere to be seen.

Orlando, led by Farmer, helped boost the team into the national spotlight. "Wow! we beat Denver - what a great feeling! This moment is why we have worked our butts off in practice. I am looking forward to the rest of the season because we are going to make some noise," said the elated Farmer.

Orlando was led by Farmer (15 points, 14 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Dupree (19 points, 3 assists, 4 steals), Mason (24 points, a block). Denver was led by Upshur (23 points, 3 assists, 2 steals, a block), Strong (13 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 6 blocks), Davis (18 points, 0 assists).

After today's victory, Orlando are now 5-6 and 3-3 at home. They hold at #3 in the Southeast and advance to #9 overall in the Eastern Conference. After this loss, Denver are now 8-4. They hold at #1 in the Northwest and remain at #3 overall in the Western Conference.
