CVBL: Memphis Pulls off the Upset
A superb game by Edwards stole the 107-99 win for Memphis over heavily-favored Philadelphia. "Not much we could do to counter him today," said Philadelphia coach Bob. "I mean, we tried just about everything to stop him to no avail."
Memphis coach Bob was thrilled with the win but realistic about his team. "To be honest, we all know that Philadelphia is better than we are, and I'm not looking forward to playing them again - especially with revenge on their minds. But Edwards had the game of his life today, and we were able to come away with the huge win. Whether we deserved it or not, the a win is a win on the standings."
