CVBL: LA Clippers 96, New Orleans 77

LA Clippers gave a solid effort, handling New Orleans with ease in today's 96-77 win. This came as no surprise to LA Clippers fans, who have been watching their team continue to improve recently. Players are starting to feel more confident as well. "I feel we can take on just about anybody right now," said today's star, Brown. "The way this team's playing, there's no limit to how far we can go." LA Clippers head coach Bob echoed his sentiment, saying "They all know they're as good as any other team in the league. They just have to stay focused and keep working, and the rest will take care of itself."

Lost in the excitement over LA Clippers was the performance of New Orleans star Jones.

LA Clippers was led by Brown (32 points, 8 boards, 0 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks), Davidson (9 points, 6 boards, 13 assists, 4 steals, a block), Reese (16 points, a steal, a block). New Orleans was led by Jones (23 points), Eatmon (13 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Breaux (8 points, 6 boards, 1 assists).
