CVBL: Milwaukee On a Roll
A great Milwaukee team and a mediocre New Orleans team met today, the result being an expected 112-81 drubbing. Milwaukee took control from the outset, never appearing troubled in the least. Said Milwaukee coach Bob, "We've got a good group of players this year, and they pulled off the win just like we drew it up. Frankly New Orleans isn't exactly tough opposition, but it was still nice to come out with the big win."
New Orleans coach Bob seemed resigned to the loss even before the game, saying "We're just hoping to keep them from running away with it and not look bad. Even that will take a bit of luck; we just don't match up with these guys."
Milwaukee was led by Fraser (23 points, a steal), Yates (14 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Young (12 points, 8 boards, 4 assists, a block). New Orleans was led by Grey (19 points, 2 steals), Ortega (13 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Bravo (9 points, 2 steals).
Milwaukee are now 6-5 and 3-2 at home. They remain at #2 in the Central and drop to #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. After today's defeat, New Orleans fall to 6-5. They hold at #4 in the Southwest and fall to #9 overall in the Western Conference.
