A great game by Brown led LA Clippers to a 114-80 blowout of Charlotte. "Coach had a talk with me before the game," said Brown afterwards. "He told me Charlotte was a tough team and that he needed me to play my best out there. He was right; I felt that when I started getting the job done, it gave the rest of the team a boost."
Said Charlotte coach Bob, "He was magnificent out there. I'd like to think that we could have won if he hadn't played, but I doubt it. Their whole team was too good for us today."
