CVBL: Dallas Pulls Out Win Over Sacramento 122-112
The fans got what they came out for, as Dallas won a seesaw 122-112 victory over Sacramento. "What a great game to have been a part of," said Dallas star Lenahan. "The momentum kept changing and neither team really had a chance to run away with the game. It just came down to having more in the tank at the end, and that was us."
Sacramento coach Bob was less enthusiastic about the game. "We had our chances to win the game, but didn't convert them. I'm most bothered that it seemed like we faded down the stretch; I think we may need to spend a little more time working on conditioning in the future. Regardless, it was a great game. Lenahan and [Sacramento star] Reeve really put on a show for the fans."
Dallas was led by Lenahan (9 points, 9 assists, 4 steals), Digiulio (25 points, 2 blocks), Wood (20 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block). Sacramento was led by Reeve (19 points, 8 boards, 1 assists), Bowling (11 points, 7 boards, 4 assists, a steal, a block), Longstreet (5 points, 18 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block).
Dallas improve to 9-4 and 5-1 at home. They move up to #2 in the Southwest and move up to #4 overall in the Western Conference. Sacramento drop to 5-8. They remain at #3 in the Pacific and remain at #11 overall in the Western Conference.
