CVBL: Orlando Takes Out Miami

A series of mistakes by Miami gave Orlando the 102-91 upset. "We just lost our focus," said Miami coach Bob. "Frankly, they were overmatched and they knew it. We did what we wanted for most of the game, but just blew it. What a tough way to go. You have to give them credit - they stuck around against a tougher opponent and were in position to take advantage when we gave them freebies."

Orlando was led by Davis (37 points, a block), Woodell (8 points, a steal, a block), Wise (14 points, 0 assists, 3 steals). Miami was led by Brown (5 points, 16 assists, a steal), Fenty (10 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Jones (20 points, 2 steals).

Orlando improve to 6-7 and 5-4 at home. They stay at #4 in the Southeast and remain at #10 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this loss, Miami are now 7-6. They stay at #2 in the Southeast and move down to #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
