CVBL: Detroit Wins 111-92
Detroit posted a solid 111-92 win over Dallas today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said Detroit coach David Smith. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Gilliam's play."
It will be a tough task for Dallas coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
Detroit was led by Gilliam (27 points, a steal, 4 blocks), Price (6 points, a block), Henderson (15 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block). Dallas was led by Perry (30 points), Olguin (7 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, 3 steals), Forrester (14 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block).
Detroit are still perfect and are now 13-0 and 8-0 at home. They stay at #1 in the Central and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Dallas stand at 9-5 after this loss. They stay at #1 in the Southwest and hold at #2 overall in the Western Conference.
