CVBL: Houston Beats Boston 114-111

Houston came out on top in an exciting game against Boston. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Houston coach Bob. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

Bob and his counterpart, Boston coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Houston just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Houston was led by James (20 points, 13 boards, 5 assists, 2 blocks), Howard (32 points, a steal, a block), Mcmasters (27 points, 7 boards, 3 assists). Boston was led by Manly (40 points), Knott (15 points, 14 boards, 4 assists, 3 blocks), Mcneil (9 points).

Houston improve to 10-4 after the win. They hold at #1 in the Southwest and remain at #2 overall in the Western Conference. Boston stand at 7-6 and 1-2 at home. They remain at #3 in the Atlantic and remain at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference.
