CVBL: Washington Takes Out LA Clippers
A new-look Washington team shocked LA Clippers today, winning 80-70. "Wow," remarked LA Clippers coach Bob. "We came in thinking we knew what to expect, but we were sure wrong. [Washington coach] Bob really did his job preparing for the game, and has turned his team around. If they can keep it up, they'll be a force to be reckoned with."
Said Bob, "The players have struggled a bit with our system here. It's nice to see things finally start to sink in. I also have to thank Borenstein. I think some of the players were a bit intimidated coming in, but after he started dominating the whole team rode the wave."
Washington was led by Borenstein (17 points, 11 boards, 0 assists), Hove (14 points, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Taylor (18 points). LA Clippers was led by Brown (20 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Patrick (16 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Hayes (13 points).
