CVBL: Minnesota Gets Solid 115-101 Win
Minnesota posted a solid 115-101 win over Miami today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said Minnesota coach Bob. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Daniels's play."
It will be a tough task for Miami coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
Minnesota was led by Daniels (16 points, 14 boards, 5 assists, 3 blocks), Prince (18 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a block), Lundy (17 points, a steal, 2 blocks). Miami was led by Jackson (37 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 4 blocks), Jasper (21 points), Romero (8 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, a steal).
Minnesota are now 9-5 and 6-3 at home. They remain at #2 in the Northwest and stay at #6 overall in the Western Conference. With the defeat, Miami stand at 5-9. They stay at #5 in the Southeast and fall to #12 overall in the Eastern Conference.
