CVBL: Minnesota 70, Brooklyn 69 in Upset Win
Minnesota made some believers today with a big win over Brooklyn. "I know all the headlines are going to say 'Minnesota upset Brooklyn', but we knew going in that we could play with these guys. It's no upset in my book," said Minnesota coach Bob. "We've had some trouble early on, but the team's finally getting it together. Just look at Dirks - he was unstoppable." Today's win certainly helps get their message out, but Minnesota still have some work ahead of them.

After today's victory, Minnesota improve to 7-9 and 4-4 at home. They remain at #5 in the Northwest and hold at #11 overall in the Western Conference. Brooklyn fall to 10-5 after this loss. They stay at #3 in the Atlantic and remain at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
