CVBL: Charlotte Beats Brooklyn 102-97

Charlotte came out on top in an exciting game against Brooklyn. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Charlotte coach Bob. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

Bob and his counterpart, Brooklyn coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Charlotte just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Charlotte was led by Bailey (14 points, 16 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Foster (29 points, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Carreon (6 points, 6 boards, 11 assists, a steal). Brooklyn was led by Caraway (18 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, a block), Knight (32 points, 1 assists), Rosemond (25 points, 2 assists, a block).

After today's win, Charlotte stand at 9-5 and 5-2 at home. They hold at #1 in the Southeast and hold at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn fall to 8-6 with the loss. They drop to #3 in the Atlantic and move down to #4 overall in the Eastern Conference.
