CVBL: Atlanta Beats San Antonio in Overtime
San Antonio defied most predictions by taking Atlanta into overtime, but ran out of gas and lost 135-129. "Atlanta is an outstanding team," said San Antonio coach Bob. "It took everything we had and a little luck to get into overtime in the first place. But they turned it up a notch after regulation and we couldn't match that. I feel bad for Freeman, who had a great game but was let down by his teammates."
Atlanta was led by Calloway (8 points, 5 boards, 21 assists, 4 steals), Mcnair (22 points, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Jackson (20 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, a block). San Antonio was led by Freeman (36 points, 3 assists, a block), Williams (25 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Meyers (23 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal).
