Henderson's coach, Coach Young, had nothing but praise for his star. "He's just special. It's something just to sit back and watch him do his thing. He certainly brings pride to Utah fans everywhere." Indiana coach Coach Hitch was concilliatory after the game as well. "When Henderson is doing his thing, you just hope you can keep him under control. We didn't, though Cato certainly did his part. We really thought we could win this game, so the locker room is pretty quiet right now. We'll just have to turn our focus to next week."

Utah was led by Henderson (9 points, 17 boards, 1 assists, a block), Dixson (20 points, a steal, a block), Riser (5 points, 3 steals). Indiana was led by Cato (25 points), Bowles (18 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Williams (18 points, 0 assists).

With the victory, Utah jump to 9-5 and 6-3 at home. They stay at #2 in the Northwest and hold at #4 overall in the Western Conference. Indiana stand at 9-6. They hold at #3 in the Central and fall to #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
