Denver got just enough breaks to upset Utah, 87-66. The pace of play was clearly dictated by Utah, showing who was the better team. But Denver came up with the right plays at the right times to convert more scoring chances and come away with the win.
"We got our share of luck today," acknowledged Denver coach Bob. "They pretty much dictated the game but we were able to get the job done when it mattered. White really helped us out there; we couldn't have pulled it off without him."
