CVBL: Milwaukee Beats Detroit 93-86

Milwaukee, led by Mitchel, got the critical win in today's matchup against Detroit. After the game, the Milwaukee star was surrounded by would-be interviewers, a not uncommon sight recently as he has moved into a leading role on his team. After taking a few questions, he met his long-time friend, Detroit's Reynolds, who had played his heart out during the game only to come up short. "It's always tough when we play, he said. I always like to see him do well, and vice versa. But we can't both come out winners as long as we're on different teams." Rumors continue to circulate about the two friends trying to find their way onto the same team.

Milwaukee was led by Mitchel (10 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 4 blocks), Howe (24 points, 5 boards, 0 assists), Thomas (18 points, 0 assists, a steal). Detroit was led by Reynolds (17 points, 10 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Singleton (15 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Degraff (24 points).

With this victory, Milwaukee jump to 12-5 and 6-4 at home. They move up to #1 in the Central and advance to #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's defeat, Detroit stand at 10-5. They drop to #2 in the Central and drop to #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
