CVBL: LA Clippers 87, Minnesota 65

LA Clippers brushed past an overmatched Minnesota team today 87-65. Always politically correct, LA Clippers coach Adnan Bislimovic stated simply "We just managed to do what we needed to get done out there. The players had solid execution all around, and Boswell's effort helped set the pace. Minnesota is a team we've had success against in the past, which I think gave us a bit more confidence coming in."

Minnesota coach Bob was a little more frank. "We knew going in that we'd need a miracle to beat LA Clippers, and we didn't get it. They have better players and a better coach, and did what they were supposed to do out there. I'm just glad the final score wasn't even worse."

LA Clippers was led by Boswell (6 points, 15 assists, 2 steals, a block), Minor (19 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, 4 blocks), Johnson (18 points, 9 boards, 0 assists, a steal). Minnesota was led by Raymond (8 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, 4 steals), Spearman (16 points, 5 boards, 0 assists), Nordman (13 points, 2 assists, a steal).

LA Clippers extended their winning streak 15 games and are now 15-1 and 8-1 at home. They stay at #1 in the Pacific and remain at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Minnesota ended their winning streak at 5 games, and fall to 10-5. They fall to #2 in the Northwest and move down to #4 overall in the Western Conference.
