CVBL: Detroit Beats Orlando 107-100

Detroit came out on top in an exciting game against Orlando. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Detroit coach David Smith. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

David Smith and his counterpart, Orlando coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Detroit just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Detroit was led by Graham (25 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Delgado (26 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Fox (20 points, a steal, 3 blocks). Orlando was led by Wright (28 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Buchanan (31 points, 0 assists), Vancourt (9 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, a block).

Detroit are now 14-3 and 7-3 at home after this victory. They hold at #1 in the Central and remain at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Orlando are now 9-9 with this defeat. They stay at #2 in the Southeast and drop to #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
