CVBL: Miami Coasts Past Indiana

Everything clicked for Miami today, as they soundly beat Indiana 116-93. Indiana looked beaten for most of the afternoon, and the final outcome was in little doubt. "I thought we came out ready to play, but we were just overmatched," said Indiana coach Coach Hitch. "It's kind of demoralizing to lose that way, knowing that you played your best and it wasn't nearly enough." Coach Hitch now has the unenviable task of getting his team ready to face another day.

Miami coach Bob couldn't be happier, though. His game plan was executed perfectly, and his players were able to dominate all aspects of the game. "It's great to get a win like this, when everything went according to plan."

Miami was led by Simmonds (17 points, 3 steals, a block), Roberson (16 points, 14 boards, 2 assists), Files (22 points, a block). Indiana was led by Harvey (18 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Ouzts (19 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Zornes (12 points, 10 boards, 1 assists).

Miami jump to 10-7 and 9-0 at home. They move up to #1 in the Southeast and move up to #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. Indiana stand at 7-10 with this loss. They hold at #3 in the Central and fall to #12 overall in the Eastern Conference.
