Phoenix came out solid today, defying the predictions and notching the 104-87 upset of Dallas. "Somebody forgot to tell them they were underdogs," quipped Dallas coach Bob after the game. "No question, they were the better team out there today and deserved this win. I thought we came in prepared, but that was just a lot better than we've seen Phoenix play for some time."

Credit has to be given to Phoenix coach Bob, who brought his team together after some tough losses earlier and has them playing at their best. "Some of the us really took those losses hard," said star Kennedy. "But coach sat us down and showed us what we were doing wrong and what we needed to do to turn around. That was great to hear, and you saw the results today."

Phoenix was led by Kennedy (17 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Jeanlouis (17 points, 12 boards, 3 assists), Miller (21 points, 1 assists, a steal). Dallas was led by Bernard (19 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a block), Jenkins (14 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Clark (22 points, 1 assists).

After the win, Phoenix jump to 7-11 and 3-6 at home. They move up to #3 in the Pacific and advance to #12 overall in the Western Conference. With today's loss, Dallas are now 9-9. They stay at #4 in the Southwest and move down to #9 overall in the Western Conference.
