CVBL: Utah Takes Easy Win over San Antonio
Utah looked like champions today, beating San Antonio 106-85. "That's the best we've seen them for a while," said an overwhelmed San Antonio coach Bob. "None of the tapes we had of them showed the fluid execution that we saw out there today, and frankly we just weren't prepared as well as they were. I take full responsibility for that; with better preparation we could have won. Instead they just took over the game and never let us back in."
Utah was led by Feaster (18 points, 20 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Patton (27 points, 5 boards, 2 assists), Smiley (10 points, 10 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks). San Antonio was led by Stroman (19 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Meyers (15 points, 2 blocks), Mack (17 points).
Utah jump to 12-7. They stay at #2 in the Northwest and move up to #5 overall in the Western Conference. San Antonio fall to 7-13 and 3-5 at home. They hold at #4 in the Southwest and hold at #12 overall in the Western Conference.
