CVBL: Bob Gets Big Win over Washington

Lee led Brooklyn to a big 79-63 win over Washington in this evening's matchup. "We figured we could play with them, but Lee really surprised us," said Washington coach Bob. "He really took us out of our game plan, and we never really figured out how to stop him. We'll just have to hope for a more normal performance next time we meet, and hopefully the final tally will be a little closer."

Brooklyn coach Bob was enthusiastic about his star's performance. "That was really something, wasn't it? Certainly we take a realistic expectation into each game, but it really gives the whole team confidence to know that Lee can pull off a game like he did today."

Brooklyn was led by Lee (23 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, a block), Alves (18 points, 1 assists, 2 steals), Fuller (17 points, 2 blocks). Washington was led by Griffin (11 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Taylor (6 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks), Davis (8 points, 2 assists).

With today's victory, Brooklyn jump to 13-6. They stay at #3 in the Atlantic and remain at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. Washington fall to 5-13 and 2-7 at home. They hold at #4 in the Southeast and hold at #12 overall in the Eastern Conference.
