CVBL: Bob Watches Washington Win
Holloway led Washington to victory today over Toronto in a 112-104 game. "It was a tough one to lose," said losing coach Bob. "I thought we had a great chance going in, and even now I think we'd have a great chance in a rematch. But Holloway made the difference for his team, and we really didn't have an answer today."
Washington coach Bob was equally admiring of his star. "Toronto were very well prepared for this game, and our boys weren't really ready for what they faced out there. I like to believe that we'd play a better all-around game when we play them again, but we'll be happy riding Holloway and getting the win today."
Washington was led by Holloway (19 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals, a block), Harrington (17 points, 13 boards, 0 assists, a block), Long (22 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, a block). Toronto was led by Bush (28 points, 19 boards, 0 assists, 5 blocks), Boll (26 points), Mattox (15 points, 2 steals, a block).
Washington improve to 8-11 and 6-2 at home. They move up to #4 in the Southeast and improve to #10 overall in the Eastern Conference. Toronto stand at 6-13 after today's loss. They stay at #5 in the Atlantic and hold at #14 overall in the Eastern Conference.
