CVBL: Sacramento Over Dallas

The fans got what they came out for, as Sacramento won a seesaw 111-101 victory over Dallas. "What a great game to have been a part of," said Sacramento star Crandell. "The momentum kept changing and neither team really had a chance to run away with the game. It just came down to having more in the tank at the end, and that was us."

Dallas coach Bob was less enthusiastic about the game. "We had our chances to win the game, but didn't convert them. I'm most bothered that it seemed like we faded down the stretch; I think we may need to spend a little more time working on conditioning in the future. Regardless, it was a great game. Crandell and [Dallas star] Garcia really put on a show for the fans."

Sacramento was led by Crandell (14 points, 3 steals, 3 blocks), Smith (22 points, 2 assists, a steal), Kaplan (20 points, 0 assists, 4 blocks). Dallas was led by Garcia (28 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Bernard (26 points, 8 boards, 0 assists, a block), Jenkins (15 points, 17 boards, 0 assists, a block).

Sacramento improve to 19-6 and 13-2 at home. They hold at #1 in the Pacific and remain at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Dallas stand at 10-16. They stay at #5 in the Southwest and drop to #12 overall in the Western Conference.
