CVBL: 105-88 Milwaukee

Milwaukee gave a solid effort, handling Memphis with ease in today's 105-88 win. This came as no surprise to Milwaukee fans, who have been watching their team continue to improve recently. Players are starting to feel more confident as well. "I feel we can take on just about anybody right now," said today's star, Coleman. "The way this team's playing, there's no limit to how far we can go." Milwaukee head coach Bob echoed his sentiment, saying "They all know they're as good as any other team in the league. They just have to stay focused and keep working, and the rest will take care of itself."

Lost in the excitement over Milwaukee was the performance of Memphis star Wright.

Milwaukee was led by Coleman (21 points, 27 boards, 4 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks), Howe (21 points, 1 assists, a block), Thomas (15 points, a block). Memphis was led by Wright (14 points, 5 boards, 1 assists), Gill (9 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Ring (7 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks).

Milwaukee improve to 16-8 with today's win. They stay at #3 in the Central and hold at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's defeat, Memphis stand at 12-12 and 8-3 at home. They drop to #4 in the Southwest and drop to #8 overall in the Western Conference.
