CVBL: Minnesota Nearly Tripped Up

It was a great game today as Minnesota was able to defeat San Antonio 121-115 in overtime. Both teams played well during regulation and needed the extra time to decide a winner. " That was a great win for Minnesota over a great team. Both teams played excellent and both teams deserved to win. I am just glad we came out on top in the end," said Coach Bob. Freeman led the way for San Antonio but his effort could not carry his team to the win in overtime.

Minnesota was led by Smith (35 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, a steal), Daniels (14 points, 11 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Gisi (10 points, 15 boards, 0 assists). San Antonio was led by Freeman (25 points, 3 blocks), Gorman (14 points, 7 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Meyers (21 points, a block).

Minnesota improve to 16-7 after the victory. They hold at #2 in the Northwest and hold at #5 overall in the Western Conference. San Antonio stand at 10-16 and 7-5 at home with the loss. They remain at #5 in the Southwest and fall to #14 overall in the Western Conference.
