CVBL: Indiana Handles Chicago 100-87
Indiana looked like champions today, beating Chicago 100-87. "That's the best we've seen them for a while," said an overwhelmed Chicago coach Bob. "None of the tapes we had of them showed the fluid execution that we saw out there today, and frankly we just weren't prepared as well as they were. I take full responsibility for that; with better preparation we could have won. Instead they just took over the game and never let us back in."
Indiana was led by Wade (31 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a block), Sigler (13 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Sanders (12 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks). Chicago was led by Joseph (16 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, a block), Spann (13 points, 11 boards, 0 assists), Smith (15 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks).
Indiana are now 14-11. They stay at #2 in the Central and stay at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference. Chicago drop to 10-16 and 8-6 at home after this defeat. They stay at #4 in the Central and remain at #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
