CVBL: LA Clippers Wins
LA Clippers star Davidson led his team to a win today in a key game against Miami. Although standings were at stake, the game was as much about bragging rights as anything. The teams have a long history against each other that began when coaches Bob and Bob traded insults after an apparently intentional injury to one of Bob's players. Although Bob has long denied that there was any malicious intent, LA Clippers fans don't believe it and turn out in large numbers whenever Miami comes to town.
LA Clippers was led by Davidson (13 points, 15 assists, 3 steals), Brown (27 points, 14 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Patrick (27 points, 2 assists, a block). Miami was led by Keeney (19 points, 10 boards, 1 assists), Fisher (5 points, 2 steals), Hannah (18 points, 3 blocks).
LA Clippers keep rolling with a winning streak of 5 games and are now 18-6. They remain at #2 in the Pacific and hold at #4 overall in the Western Conference. After today's defeat, Miami drop to 12-13 and 8-5 at home. They hold at #1 in the Southeast and stay at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference.
