CVBL: Brooklyn Over Cleveland
Brooklyn, led by Duncan, got the critical win in today's matchup against Cleveland. After the game, the Brooklyn star was surrounded by would-be interviewers, a not uncommon sight recently as he has moved into a leading role on his team. After taking a few questions, he met his long-time friend, Cleveland's Fanny, who had played his heart out during the game only to come up short. "It's always tough when we play, he said. I always like to see him do well, and vice versa. But we can't both come out winners as long as we're on different teams." Rumors continue to circulate about the two friends trying to find their way onto the same team.
Brooklyn was led by Duncan (22 points, 15 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Gray (6 points, 10 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Hazan (14 points, a steal). Cleveland was led by Fanny (19 points, 10 assists, 3 steals), Rocha (23 points, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Sigler (11 points, 10 boards, 2 assists).
After the win, Brooklyn improve to 17-12. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and remain at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference. After the defeat, Cleveland fall to 12-14 and 7-5 at home. They remain at #4 in the Central and fall to #11 overall in the Eastern Conference.
