In one of the most important games of the season for both teams, Indiana upstaged Atlanta 116-93. Showing more glitter than a Brittany Spears concert, perfect Indiana execution, a brilliant game by Henderson, and impeccable play-calling by Coach Hitch provided all the right ingredients for a big win.

Lawson was key for Atlanta, but after the game he looked like somebody had just run over his dog. "I thought we could do it. The whole game I was still thinking we were going to win. I guess that's the difference between thinking it and doing it. Give Indiana credit - they are nothing but class. I just feel sorry for coach Bob. He had us ready and we let him down."

Indiana stand at 16-11 and 9-4 at home with the win. They stay at #3 in the Central and improve to #6 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this defeat, Atlanta fall to 12-16. They remain at #4 in the Southeast and hold at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference.
