CVBL: 118-103 Memphis

Sigler was unstoppable today, leading Memphis to a 118-103 win over Atlanta. "I've never seen anything like that," said Atlanta star Jackson. "Sigler just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Bob, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."

Sigler refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Sigler certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.

Memphis was led by Sigler (21 points, 17 boards, 1 assists, a block), Maxwell (25 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Jensen (13 points, 2 assists, a steal). Atlanta was led by Jackson (16 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Worrel (10 points, 13 boards, 4 assists, a steal), Mcnair (19 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a block).

With the victory, Memphis jump to 21-5 and 12-1 at home. They hold at #1 in the Southwest and stay at #3 overall in the Western Conference. Atlanta fall to 15-13. They stay at #1 in the Southeast and stay at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference.
