CVBL: Detroit Routs Brooklyn 89-63
A great game by Chapman led Detroit to a 89-63 blowout of Brooklyn. "Coach had a talk with me before the game," said Chapman afterwards. "He told me Brooklyn was a tough team and that he needed me to play my best out there. He was right; I felt that when I started getting the job done, it gave the rest of the team a boost."
Said Brooklyn coach Bob, "He was magnificent out there. I'd like to think that we could have won if he hadn't played, but I doubt it. Their whole team was too good for us today."
