CVBL: Brooklyn 96, Oklahoma Cty 89

Brooklyn came out on top in an exciting game against Oklahoma Cty. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Brooklyn coach Bob. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

Bob and his counterpart, Oklahoma Cty coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Brooklyn just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Brooklyn was led by Hazan (19 points, 5 boards, 7 assists, a steal), Duncan (8 points, 16 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block), Fletcher (15 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, a steal). Oklahoma Cty was led by Frazier (24 points, 19 boards, 2 assists), Plungis (14 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Valentine (8 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, a block).

Brooklyn improve to 18-12. They remain at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference. Oklahoma Cty fall to 12-15 and 7-8 at home. They stay at #3 in the Northwest and drop to #10 overall in the Western Conference.
