CVBL: Memphis Blows Past LA Lakers 118-84
A rock-solid Memphis team routed LA Lakers, 118-84. "It sure felt good out there," said today's star, Jensen. "We basically accomplished what we wanted to do on offense and defense. Coach's game plan worked perfectly."
LA Lakers coach Andreas Helmle was disappointed with the game, but not completely surprised. "Memphis is a great team, and we knew going in that if they played their best we didn't stand a chance. The only way we were going to win was if we got some breaks, and we didn't. But it was a great learning experience; they showed us our weaknesses."
