CVBL: New York Clobbers Phoenix

After the game was over, Phoenix left the stadium with their heads between their legs after being on the losing end of a 125-94 blowout against New York. In the post-game press conference, New York coach Bob spoke of how his team came out ready to play and didn't let up once they got ahead. Led by Crawford, New York was able to hold off the few runs made by Phoenix. Coach Bob of Phoenix said, "I really thought we had a chance to win this game. Hopefully next game we will come out ready to play. Maybe I need to take our ping pong table out of the clubhouse."

New York was led by Crawford (21 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Speight (21 points, a steal), Velazquez (19 points, 3 assists, a steal, a block). Phoenix was led by Celaya (25 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a block), Oh (17 points, 0 assists, 2 steals), Hughes (8 points, a steal).

With today's win, New York stand at 22-7. They remain at #1 in the Atlantic and remain at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. Phoenix drop to 15-14 and 10-8 at home after this loss. They hold at #3 in the Pacific and remain at #8 overall in the Western Conference.
