The players had solid execution all around, and Davidson's effort helped set the pace. New Orleans is a team we've had success against in the past, which I think gave us a bit more confidence coming in."

New Orleans coach Bob was a little more frank. "We knew going in that we'd need a miracle to beat Denver, and we didn't get it. They have better players and a better coach, and did what they were supposed to do out there. I'm just glad the final score wasn't even worse."

With today's victory, Denver are now 21-10. They stay at #1 in the Northwest and remain at #2 overall in the Western Conference. New Orleans drop to 16-13 and 8-6 at home. They hold at #3 in the Southwest and remain at #6 overall in the Western Conference.
