CVBL: Milwaukee Wins Confidently Over Atlanta 98-84
Milwaukee played a solid game today, beating Atlanta 98-84. Atlanta players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Milwaukee today. "It was really frustrating," said Atlanta star Baker. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.
Milwaukee was led by Mitchel (19 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a block), Williams (16 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Reynolds (12 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a block). Atlanta was led by Baker (25 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Laws (18 points, 12 boards, 1 assists, a block), Rawlings (19 points, 2 assists, a steal).
With the win, Milwaukee are now 19-9 and 9-4 at home. They hold at #3 in the Central and stay at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta fall to 13-15 with the loss. They fall to #3 in the Southeast and move down to #9 overall in the Eastern Conference.
