CVBL: New Orleans Beats the Odds

A superb game by Feaster stole the 112-94 win for New Orleans over heavily-favored Houston. "Not much we could do to counter him today," said Houston coach Bob. "I mean, we tried just about everything to stop him to no avail."

New Orleans coach Bob was thrilled with the win but realistic about his team. "To be honest, we all know that Houston is better than we are, and I'm not looking forward to playing them again - especially with revenge on their minds. But Feaster had the game of his life today, and we were able to come away with the huge win. Whether we deserved it or not, the a win is a win on the standings."

New Orleans was led by Feaster (15 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Smiley (10 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a block), Reid (13 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks). Houston was led by Battle (18 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, a block), Banks (20 points), Robertson (6 points, a steal).

New Orleans improve to 12-16 and 6-9 at home after this victory. They hold at #4 in the Southwest and stay at #12 overall in the Western Conference. Houston stand at 21-8. They remain at #2 in the Southwest and remain at #4 overall in the Western Conference.
