Detroit served notice that their time has come, thanks to an impressive 101-84 win over Charlotte. "I think a lot of people have overlooked us," said Coach David Smith after the game. "Maybe with this game and a few more quality wins, the rest of the league will start to take notice." Charlotte certainly took notice today, as losing coach Bob said "We really expected to put on a better game than this. But Detroit were just too good."

After this victory, Detroit stand at 27-2. They hold at #1 in the Central and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Charlotte fall to 8-22 and 6-10 at home with the loss. They hold at #5 in the Southeast and drop to #14 overall in the Eastern Conference.
