CVBL: Atlanta Over Toronto 100-93
Atlanta beat Toronto today in a 100-93 game that was close the whole way. For much of the game, it looked like Toronto would be able to pull off the win, thanks in large part to an outstanding performance by Wright. But the tide finally turned in the end, with Atlanta star Mcnair leading his team to victory.
"Definitely a great game," said Atlanta coach Bob after the game. "The fans got their money's worth out of it, and both teams put up a good fight. We're just glad that we were able to finish strong and get the W. Mcnair was a big part of that, and I don't think we'd have won without his efforts."
Atlanta was led by Mcnair (23 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks), Worrel (24 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Jackson (14 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block). Toronto was led by Wright (17 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Murray (17 points, 3 steals, a block), Chavis (12 points, a block).
Atlanta stand at 17-13 and 10-6 at home after the victory. They remain at #1 in the Southeast and remain at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. Toronto are now 16-14. They remain at #2 in the Atlantic and stay at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference.
