CVBL: LA Clippers Takes Easy Win over Oklahoma Cty
LA Clippers showed their mettle today with a convincing 101-90 win over Oklahoma Cty. "After some of the games we've had, I think we've left some doubt as to whether we can solidly beat anybody," said head coach Bob after the game. "I don't know that one game will erase those doubts, but I can certainly see the difference in the locker room."
The win came largely as the result of a great effort by Patrick, the LA Clippers star. Said Bob of him, "The game would have gone down to the wire without Patrick's efforts today. He really made the difference between another tough battle and a dominating win."
LA Clippers was led by Patrick (25 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals), Brown (22 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Stubbs (11 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block). Oklahoma Cty was led by Judson (14 points, 8 boards, 3 assists, a steal), Walston (5 points, 14 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Mcneil (23 points, 0 assists).
LA Clippers improve to 21-7. They stay at #2 in the Pacific and hold at #4 overall in the Western Conference. Oklahoma Cty stand at 15-14 and 11-4 at home. They remain at #4 in the Northwest and remain at #8 overall in the Western Conference.
