CVBL: Coach Hitch Satisfied With Indiana Win
Indiana looked like champions today, beating Boston 104-93. "That's the best we've seen them for a while," said an overwhelmed Boston coach Bob. "None of the tapes we had of them showed the fluid execution that we saw out there today, and frankly we just weren't prepared as well as they were. I take full responsibility for that; with better preparation we could have won. Instead they just took over the game and never let us back in."
Indiana was led by Cato (31 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block), Henderson (19 points, 8 boards, 0 assists, a block), Williams (19 points, a block). Boston was led by Flake (29 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Aguirre (27 points, 0 assists, a block), Williams (13 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks).
Indiana stand at 19-11. They remain at #3 in the Central and remain at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference. Boston stand at 8-24 and 5-7 at home with the loss. They hold at #5 in the Atlantic and remain at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
